10/10 rainy-weekend adventure! 🌟
Yesterday we escaped the rain and landed straight into the cosmos at Planetarium! Under a giant 20-meter dome, we soared past planets, dived into the Milky Way, and explored the universe — all without leaving dry land.
Kids and grown-ups alike got glued to the ceiling full of stars. What a magical family adventure!
The Mannheim Planetarium is a combination of cinema and museum. The screen is curved and not square, so the movies are shown on a dome-shaped screen. This makes it seem as if you are looking at the real night sky. There are also special movies and concerts. There are also radio plays and nature films.
Today we watched Die Olchis, whos took us on a stinky-fun space adventure.
The Olchis are green, have horns instead of ears, live in a cave on a rubbish tip in Schmuddelfing and love mud puddles and dirt. In their first planetarium adventure, the Olchis fly into space!
Super funny, super cute, and perfect for younger kids!
